We're extremely proud to be the home of ten Military Star Schools! This prestigious designation from the Mississippi Department of Education
is awarded to schools that go above and beyond to support military-connected students whose parents or guardians serve on active duty or in the military.

Some students at West Lauderdale High are making the most of their summer break. Not only are they earning extra cash, but they’re also gaining real-world work experience! Major progress is being made on the first-ever LCSD Career & Technical Education Center. Located in the former Peavey Service Warranty Building on Highway 11/80 in the industrial park in East Meridian, the center is designed to meet the needs of students now and into the future.
